Search, filter, save views, import/export, add contacts, change status, and run bulk actions across a client's contact list.

Overview

The platform Contacts manager is the searchable, filterable table of every contact for the selected client. From here you search, filter by any property, save views, import and export CSVs, add contacts, change a contact's status, and run bulk actions (update status, add to a campaign, or delete) across many contacts at once. Pick a client in the switcher first. Click a contact name to open its record.

How to use this page

  1. 1
    Search and filter

Use the search box to find contacts by name, email, or company. Click Filters to build property rules (status, title, campaign, custom fields, and more) with operators like contains, equals, is empty, and between. The active filter count shows how many rules are applied. Use the All Contacts dropdown and Columns to control the view and which columns show.

  2. 2
Read the table and current view

The Current View band shows the active view name and how many contacts match, with quick counts (on page, with phone, in campaign, replied). Each row shows the contact, email, company, title, status, calls, emails, and campaign. Click a contact name to open the full record.

  3. 3
    Change a contact's status

Click the status pill in a row to open the status dropdown and set a new status (for example Uncontacted, Attempting, Interested, Meeting Set). Status changes follow the progression rules so a contact does not regress incorrectly.

  4. 4
    Run bulk actions

Select contacts with the row checkboxes (or Select all matching). The bulk bar then lets you Update Status, Add to Campaign (optionally moving contacts already in another campaign), or Delete the selected contacts. Use Clear to deselect.

  5. 5
    Import, export, and save views

Click Import CSV to upload contacts: choose the file, map columns, and pick a target (a campaign or no campaign). Notes and follow-up dates can import too. Export CSV downloads the current filtered set. Save a filter combination as a named view so you can return to it later.

What the buttons do

Search contacts
Free-text search across name, email, and company for the selected client.
Filters
Opens the filter panel to add property rules with operators. Add property adds a rule; the active count shows how many are applied.
Columns
Choose which columns appear in the table.
All Contacts (view dropdown)
Switch between saved views and the default All Contacts view.
Status pill
Click a contact's status to change it from a dropdown. Honors status progression rules.
Bulk bar (Update Status / Add to Campaign / Delete)
Appears when contacts are selected. Applies an action to all selected (or all matching) contacts. Add to Campaign can move contacts already enrolled elsewhere.
Import CSV
Upload a CSV, map its columns, and import into a campaign or with no campaign. Supports notes and follow-up dates.
Export CSV
Downloads the current filtered contact set as a CSV.
Add Contact
Opens a form to create a single contact for the selected client.
Save View
Saves the current search, filters, and columns as a named view to reuse later.

Common questions

How do I act on many contacts at once?

Check the contacts you want (or use Select all matching), then use the bulk bar to update status, add them to a campaign, or delete them.

Can I import contacts with notes and follow-up dates?

Yes. The Import CSV flow lets you map columns including notes and follow-up dates, and choose whether to import into a campaign or with no campaign.

Why didn't a status change take effect?

Status changes follow progression rules that block invalid regressions (for example reverting Meeting Set back to Interested). Pick a status that is a valid next step.

What does Export CSV include?

It exports the contacts matching your current search and filters, not the entire database. Narrow the filters first to export a focused set.
